This community is filled with so many amazing folks. As it grows and we grow alongside it, we want to bring in more offerings to connect deeper. To this end we’ve designed day-long retreats with all our favorite things, in one place, with more time and space. These retreats will be a way to slow down, create connections, and build vibrancy. In this format, we’ll explore the intersections of creativity and embodiment. Holding space for the whole day will give our nervous system the rest and reset it needs. We sure do love our big Maine summers, but come September we know we’ll be looking for some time to reset. What to expect: +Guided Dip where we will provide more guidance and info about acclimation as the water cools and how to develop your coldwater practice in order to dip successfully through the winter! We’ll share our best dip tips, tricks, and preparations we don’t usually have time to discuss at the larger community dips. +We’ll offer creative prompts such as memory writing or large-scale collective painting to explore connection to self within the container of community. +Flexible schedule allowing for solo time, a woods walk, river paddle, rest, additional dips, or whatever your body needs +Coffee and tea! Snackies! Delicious communal dinner! S’mores! +Some Mermaid Magic and amazing community +Small group of no more than 8 participants We believe that creativity bubbles up from within and when practiced as a process, as an act, instead of for results or product creation it allows us to connect deeper to our core and be witnessed in the process. We’re so excited to offer this time and space to allow the bubbling and to sink into our bodies. This event is for all cis and trans women, as well as non-binary people who are comfortable in a space that centers the experiences of women.
